Every late load is a lesson
The thread where a carrier fell through, the rate confirmation that got renegotiated, the exception that was resolved before the customer noticed: labs want the record of how freight actually moves. Logistics is on every major buyer’s list.
Why labs want it
Routing math is solved. What a model can’t learn from public data is how a 30-person brokerage handles a Friday-afternoon fall-off, how a dispatcher prioritizes, and what a “normal” exception looks like.
Mercor, Handshake AI and micro1 all list logistics by name, with dispatch logs, shipping records and fulfillment workflows as their examples.
Where this is reported, as of October 2026. None of these companies is a SellMyData customer; they are the public record of what buyers are asking for.
- MercorLists logistics and supply chain among its target industries: shipping manifests, dispatch logs and invoices. Mercor Data, target industries.
- Handshake AILists logistics and supply chain among its industries: procurement workflows, shipping records and dispatch logs. Handshake AI data partnerships.
- micro1Lists operations and logistics as a data area: operational SOPs, logistics processes, fulfillment workflows and inventory management. micro1 Company Data Partnerships.

Tool names are the ones we see most in this industry. If yours isn’t listed, it almost certainly still counts: take inventory and we’ll tell you.
What stays out
- Driver and contact detailsDriver names, phone numbers, license numbers and the contacts at carriers and shippers are replaced with placeholders.
- Location tracesELD data, GPS pings and telematics are left out by default.
- Consumer dataWe don’t buy consumer personal data, health records tied to people, or payment card data, and we check that none is mixed into what’s in scope.
- Other people’s contentVendor documents, licensed material and anything marked confidential by someone else are left out during the rights check.
Full detail: what we remove and how rights are checked. We don’t buy consumer personal data, health records tied to people, or payment card data.
How it works
- STEP 01
Value it
Answer a few questions and get an estimated range. Nothing is shared yet.
- STEP 02
Share your exports
We walk you through exporting from each tool you choose, for the date range you choose. We never write to your systems.
- STEP 03
Approve the listing
We strip names, contacts and identifiers. You review the redacted preview and the price before any lab sees it.
- STEP 04
Get paid
When a lab buys a license, you get paid. We aim to pay within 7 days of the sale closing.
Today this is done by hand, with you. You export, we clean and prepare, you approve. How you stay in control.
Questions from logistics
Our customers’ shipments are confidential. Can we license this?
Shipper and consignee identities are removed, and the rights check goes through your customer contracts with you. Anything under a confidentiality clause that doesn’t allow it stays out.
Do lane and rate data stay in?
Lanes, dates and rates are what make the record useful, so they stay unless you ask otherwise. Company names and people are replaced with placeholders.
We run on a TMS and a shared inbox. Is that enough?
Yes. Load records matched to the email threads that managed them are exactly the combination buyers describe.
