Insurance

Renewals, remarkets and the carrier email that fixed it

An independent agency’s inbox holds years of how coverage actually gets placed: the renewal that had to be remarketed, the endorsement request, the claim coordinated between client and carrier. Insurance is on the buyers’ lists.

Why labs want it

Policy forms are public. The work of an agency or MGA isn’t: how a producer builds a submission, how an account manager handles a nonrenewal, how a TPA moves a claim from first notice to close.

Mercor lists finance and insurance among its target industries, with underwriting files and claims as examples. Handshake AI lists underwriting workflows and process documentation.

Where this is reported, as of October 2026. None of these companies is a SellMyData customer; they are the public record of what buyers are asking for.

How it works

  1. STEP 01

    Value it

Answer a few questions and get an estimated range. Nothing is shared yet.

  2. STEP 02

    Share your exports

We walk you through exporting from each tool you choose, for the date range you choose. We never write to your systems.

  3. STEP 03

    Approve the listing

We strip names, contacts and identifiers. You review the redacted preview and the price before any lab sees it.

  4. STEP 04

    Get paid

When a lab buys a license, you get paid. We aim to pay within 7 days of the sale closing.

Today this is done by hand, with you. You export, we clean and prepare, you approve. How you stay in control.

Questions from insurance

Personal lines are mostly individuals. Can we include them?

Commercial lines are the easier starting point. Personal-lines records can be in scope only with every personal identifier removed, and the rights check will go through your privacy notices with you first.

Do premiums and coverage limits stay in?

Yes. Amounts, limits, lines of business and dates are what make the record useful. People and companies are replaced with placeholders.

Does our carrier contract allow this?

That is one of the agreements the rights check reads. Carrier material stays out; your agency’s own process and records are usually yours to license.
