Who we are
sellmydata.com (the “site”) is operated by 6 Degrees Management Group LLC (“SellMyData”, “we”). By using the site or the API you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
What the site is for
The site explains what we do and lets you request an estimate or, if you’re a lab, request data. An estimate is our indication of a likely range, based on what you tell us and what labs are asking for at the time. It is not an offer, a valuation or a promise of a sale.
No data is licensed through the site
Nothing on the site creates a license, a sale or any other agreement about data. Data is licensed only under a separate written agreement between the company that owns it, the lab and us, after the rights check, de-identification and approvals described on the site.
What we ask of you
- Give us accurate information, and only information you have the right to share.
- Don’t put other people’s personal information in forms, API requests or emails. We ask for tool names, dates and counts, not names or contact details.
- Don’t use the site or the API to send spam, probe for weaknesses, or interfere with the service for others.
The API
The estimate API is provided free, as is, for requesting estimates on behalf of a person who has asked for one. We may limit, suspend or change it at any time, and we may block requests that look automated in bad faith.
Content and trademarks
The text and design of the site belong to us. Third-party product names and logos belong to their owners, are shown with their permission to identify the tools companies use, and don’t imply that those companies endorse us or buy from us.
No warranties, limited liability
The site and API are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or API, and our total liability for the site and API is limited to the amount you paid us to use them, which is nothing.

Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
